New Addition to the Family
He is Finally here!!! My youngest son, David Alexander Blake ( "Little David"). He was born at 11:55am on Wednesday, March 19th, 2008. 7lbs 12oz and 20 inches long. He looks just like his older brother, which is good, cause he’s a cutie too! We should be able to head home tomorrow or so... all of our friends are welcome to come visit the new baby, but please call so we know visitors are coming! Here are a few photos... but you can see all of them here --> http://flickr.com/photos/whiskeyboytx/sets/72157604169558333/

GIve your GeoCache that perfect "Camo" look.
Ok... here's a quick run down of how I get my fancy camo paint job on my caches. Now you can make your caches easier to hide just like the one below, but it will work on anything you want to camo, so I'm using our geo-binder for the how-to.
First, get your 2 colors that you want to use. I chose Brown and Green. Paint your cache or other item with your first color and let it dry.
Then cover your item with fallen leaves, any leaves will do. Once you have it pretty well covered paint over the leaves with your second color.
Allow the paint to dry, then carefully remove your leaves... you are left with a nice camo pattern on your item.

Time For a Change
This blog is now going to be a collection of my geocaching adventures... both with myself and with my family. Geocaching is a fun GPS "treasure hunt" type game. Players can hide caches and list them online by latitude and longitude coordinates, other players download the coordinates into GPS devices and go hunting for the cache. A Cache usually contains at the lease a log book for visitors to signs and most times small toys, coins or items to trade... visitors take an item and leave another. You can read all about geocaching and get playing at geocaching.com.
